I learned how to get onto a color in website and create my own of the original.

I enjoyed coloring in my own copy of the original photo that I picked and I think that the original photo looks amazing and then compare it to mine they kind of look the same just mine has more darker colors.

I found it quite challenging to pick one of the photos because there was so many beautiful pictures to choose from and I just couldn't make up my mind but then for some reason I just picked randomly the picture of the wave. I also found it really hard to color in all of the bekaboo whites because the spot that had not been colored in was just too small for my mouse cursor but I still managed to get it.

Next time I will try to pick a more detailed picture and challenge myself with lots of little spots and try to get better at art. Next time I could try make both pictures look similar instead of making them look different.

2020 Manaiakalani CyberSmart

 

This year in Cybersmart we have been learning about so many tools and skills and even some mindset work when we are learning to write about something for example toolset goes with google slides, skillset goes with poly line, mindset goes with being the learning kind.

Some of my favourite things that I've learned to do includes math equations, reading, mathletics, sports and more physical stuff.

Some of the things that have been the most challenging are thinking of ideas for my writing samples and writing recounts and poems.

Some things I wish we had learned about that we didn't, or learned more about are toolset, skillset and mindset.

When we made our review, I was thinking about how I was going to make my slide up and how I was going to do it.

We were learning about how to realise if something suspicious is real or if it is fake.

I found it easy to insert my photo onto the background that I had picked.

I found it challenging to write down my postcard about what I did.

Next time I will do more writing and try to create a more quality stamp.

Teaching How To Use Scratch

We were learning about Teaching others how to use scratch.

I found it easy to use the screencastify.

I also found it easy to copy and paste the link because all I have to do is push two buttons and I am done.

Next time I will tell them ore information about scratch and I could even tell them how to understand what the variables mean.

Digital Reading Challenge

We were learning about creating a link of something we did and copying the link into the thing that says my creative reading task.

I found it easy to copy the link into the writing my creative reading task.

I found it challenging to make the link a good size for people to see it because it was so small and i could not make it bigger.

Next time I will post something else like a google drawing, google slides, animation or another scratch game.

Quality Blog Comment

We were learning about how to write a quality blog comment.

I found it easy to get a background and write the title.

I found it challenging to write all of the ideas down because it was hard to think of some.

Next time I will get more ideas, and then extend the writing in those ides.

We were learning about making an Avatar with an element and an animal.

I found it easy to crop the images and put the images in place to make it look like an animal that needs our help.

I found it challenging to cooperate a little bit. But in the end it all was great after all.

Next time I will check things I have done wrong just like trying to see the fire on the lion a bit better.

We were learning about commenting on someone's blog. 

I found it easy to put information into a comment and I have mastered the screenshot. 

I found it challenging to find a regular background to put on my post.

All About Me

Hi my name is Tuturi and I go to Awapuni School. I am 9 years old. 

My family’s culture is Maori. I have two siblings, one sister and one brother. 

My goals for this year would be to write better and get better at math. I would like to get better at tackle rugby and read lots of books. 

I enjoy running around, playing games and having fun outside. I am good at math and solving equations.
